- Print this file for a handy reference of the keyboard.
-
-
- The keyboard is divided into three main groups:
-
- * The Function Keys
-
- * The Navigation Keys
-
- * The Editing Keys
-
-
- The Function Keys
-
- The function keys provide command level control of farVIEW. These
- keys can also be used in conjunction with the Control, Shift and
- Alternate keys.
-
-
- The Navigation Keys
-
- These keys are used to navigate within a single frame.
-
- The navigation keys that provide vertical control (i.e., vertical
- scrolling and paging) are active at all times, whether the editor
- is active or not. Other navigation keys are active only when the
- editor is active.
-
- Note that the edit cursor is only visible when the editor is
- active. When the edit cursor is not visible, the effect of a
- navigation key is to change the position of the window over the
- text.
-
-
- The Editing Keys
-
- The alphabetic, numeric and special character keys are active
- only when the editor is active. They are used normally as text.
